Update from the Orange County Sheriff
Sandra Hutchens updates topics of interest to the city.
Speak Up Newport is honored to present a program with Sheriff Sandra Hutchens, who will give us an update on topics of relevance to our community, including working on solutions to the local homeless population and the issue of sanctuary cities. Hear how her efforts have had a positive impact on Newport Beach and what the City’s future might look like.
Sheriff Hutchens has served as Sheriff-Coroner for Orange County since 2008 and is the first woman to hold this important elected County office. After more than forty years in law enforcement, she will be retiring in early 2019, when a new sheriff is sworn in.
