Balboa Peninsula Revitalization

Come and hear about two new exciting projects!

After sitting vacant for many years, the Balboa Performing Arts Theater will soon be undergoing a
major renovation. Lab Holdings LLC was selected by the City Council as the developer. The theater will be renovated in the style of the original Balboa Theater, with a whole new entertainment/dining concept inside.

The Bluewater Grill was selected by the City Council to replace the shuttered restaurant structure at the end of the Newport Pier with a restaurant in a new building. It will be a quality restaurant, appropriately designed for the Newport Pier.

Shaheen Sadeghi and his team will discuss their plans for the Balboa Theater and Jim Ulcickas with Bluewater Grill will present their ideas for the new restaurant on the pier.

The Community Room is on the right (directly across from City Council Chambers) when you enter the complex on Civic Center Drive. Parking is available in the Parking Structure and in the parking lot adjacent to the structure.

There's no charge to attend. Please bring your neighbors and friends. Guests are always welcome.
